What is the CITIZENS VOTING campaign
This petition, launched within the framework of the Eco Champions Project for Household and Public Spaces Sustainable Waste Management, calls for stronger, clearer, and more participatory local waste management systems across Europe. Recognising that waste management directly affects the quality of our environment and daily lives, the initiative promotes transparency, citizen engagement, and shared responsibility at community level.

What you are voting on and when you can vote
Through a three-month online voting campaign (3 March – 3 June 2026), residents are invited to support practical, community-focused solutions that improve recycling systems, raise awareness about correct waste sorting, and encourage active participation in local decision-making processes.
